Easy Sausage Pizza Bake

Ingredients

oz ground sausage
1
medium onion, diced

cups mushrooms, sliced
1/2
teaspoon salt

cups Original Bisquick® mix
1
cup water
1
jar (14 oz) pizza sauce
2
cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz) 

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan.
  •  
  • 2 Cook ground sausage in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove with slotted spoon onto paper towel to drain. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings from pan. Add diced onion, and cook until translucent but not browned. Add sliced mushrooms and salt, and cook until mushrooms are softened and onions are caramelized. Remove from heat.

  • 3 In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms. Drop half of the dough by spoonfuls into pan. Dough will not completely cover bottom of pan.
  •  
  • 4 Spoon half of the pizza sauce over dough; sprinkle with half of the cheese, and scatter with half of the sausage mixture. Repeat layers with the rest of the dough, sauce, cheese and sausage mixture.

Ingredients

pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1/3
cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4
cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4
cup sour cream
1
tablespoon red food color
1
egg
3/4
to 1 cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy cream cheese frosting
1/4
cup chopped nuts 

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, cocoa, butter, sour cream, food color and egg until soft dough forms.
  •  
  • 2 Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  •  
  • 3 Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  •

Chocolate Swirl Muffin Cake

Filling

cup semisweet chocolate chips

cup whipping cream

teaspoon vanilla

Cake

boxes (16.4 oz each) Betty Crocker® chocolate chip premium muffin mix
1 1/3
cups water
1/2
cup vegetable oil

eggs 

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Generously grease 12-cup fluted tube cake pan.
  •  
  • 2 In 2-quart saucepan, cook all filling ingredients over medium-low heat 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove 1/3 cup filling for glaze; set aside. Freeze remaining filling 15 minutes until thick like pudding.
  •  
  • 3 Meanwhile, in large bowl, stir together all cake ingredients. Spoon half the batter into pan. Remove filling from freezer. Carefully spoon filling in center of batter to within 1/2 inch of pan edges. Spoon remaining batter over filling.
  •  
  • 4 Bake 50 to 65 minutes or until top springs back when touched. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack. Spoon reserved 1/3 cup filling on cake to glaze.
